2.6.9.0 - Routine

This release is a routine release.

  • Changes to the shopping basket to allow the price to be modified by our code prior to checkout (requires implementation by Cubik).
  • Changes to the core Google Maps code.
  • Extra comments added to the core commerce code to aid with internal debugging.
  • Changes to the code which allows the content of a placeholder to be pulled in from a placeholder on a different page (e.g. automatically generated right hand columns).
  • If the user does not have a forename or surname, the username will be used instead in the forums.
  • Fixed an issue with page comments not working correctly on some externally hosted servers.
  • Added the ability to apply custom header text to the Page Comments panel (defined by Cubik).
  • Changes to the way we work out whether to display tooltip content on the top level navigation.
  • Changes to the core Commerce code for handling completed baskets when a payment has been completed.
  • Corrected a script error which was occuring when saving General Content pages.
  • If your site uses Secure Trading, it is now possible to specify which set of files should be used on the secure trading payment screens.
  • If you show text search results on your location search page, it is now possible to use a custom formatter for the results (requires development by Cubik).
  • Minor changes to the way we work out whether a user is browsing the site on a mobile device to correct a possible performance issue.
  • Simplified the way we handle the display of the name of the person who made the comment in the comments panel.
  • Corrected an issue which could prevent site configuration from being loaded correctly in the server admin service.
  • Changes to the Site Report functionality, including the ability to display a custom title and description on the Site Report admin page.
