Guest posting on a high authority blog can do wonders to your reputation online. However, before you get to the level of posting on such a blog, there is a path that you must follow to even appear on the radar of such blogs.

4. Long articles are better: Most site and blog owners want long articles that are also informative. Long articles rank better on Google and will probably have more in-depth information that will offer readers a lot more value.

The first thing you should be posting on a site shouldn’t be your guest post. You should first take time to read and comment on other articles on the site. This helps you to gain a reputation among the visitors to the site and it also helps you to get a feel for the type of content that is posted on that site.

When you know the kind of post to write, it’s much easier to write the sort of posts that will be liked and shared multiple times on social media and other circles. This is particularly important when you’re starting off since you won’t yet have a reputation to rely on.
